Isabel Asha Penzlien established Portraits by Isabel in late 2009 as a means to combine her ongoing portrait projects with her love of families and interest in the portrait as historic document. Her portraits are a unique way to capture a memory of you and your loved ones, be it family, friends, pets or yourself.
Through her years of working as a successful photographer in both editorial and commercial realms, Isabel has gained insight into working with groups and creating portraits of real people, with an emphasis on the process always being one that is comfortable and fun.
Her work has been published in Teen Vogue, I-D, Domino, W among many others and she has published several fine art books of her portraits and landscapes.
